CONFERENCE CALLS. 5.   TO USE TIELIN  . 6.   TO TRANSFER A CALL.  An Overview of Cisco IP Phone . 1.SOFTKEYS Press a softkey for any of the functions displayed in the bottom of your screen. Softkeys change depending onthe status of your phone, to return to the normal state, press ‘Exit’ softkey. REDIAL : Press to activate the speaker and redial the last number or Lift the Handset and press ‘Redial’softkey to redial the last number. NEW CALL: Press to activate the speaker and begin dialling. CFwdAll: Press to forward your calls to another extension or cancel call forward. JOIN: Join several calls on one line to create a conference call SCROLL BUTTON:  Allows you to scroll through text and to select features displayed on the LCD screen. VOLUME & SOUND CONTROL: Volume for the handset, headset or speakerphone (depending upon which state you are in). Also controlsringer volume. Press ‘Save’ softkey after adjusting the volume. HEADSET BUTTON & JACK: The Headset Button toggles the headset on or off. The headset plugs into a dedicated outlet on the bottom of your IP Phone. INFORMATION & SERVICES BUTTONS: MESSAGES KEY: Currently not implemented . DIRECTORY BUTTON:  Press to view missed calls, received calls, calls made and to access the CallManager Directory.Use the Scroll Button up/down to navigate through the options. SERVICES BUTTON  :   Currently not implemented SETTINGS BUTTON:   Press to access the phone settings such as Contrast and Ring Type, Network Configuration and Statusinformation. ? (INFORMATION) KEY:  Press to display help on your LCD screen for a phone button or function. Press the information key twice(quickly) for help on using this button. . 3. TO MAKE A CALL: 1. Lift the handset and dial the number, or  2. Press ‘New Call’ softkey and dial the number, or  3. Press Speaker or headset button and dial the number. FOR INTERNAL CALLS: Dial the 4 / 5 digit extension number . FOR EXTERNAL (local) CALLS:  Dial ‘0’ for an outside line followed by the local telephone number and complete by pressing # button.E.g.: 0-41924192# FOR EXTERNAL (Mobile) CALLS:  Dial ‘0’ for an outside line followed by the mobile cell number and press # key and when prompted for passcodetype your authentication code.E.g.:- 0-9845598455# then wait for 2 beep and key in your authentication code followed by # FOR EXTERNAL (STD) CALLS:  Dial ‘0’ for an outside line followed by the STD code followed by the telephone number a # and authenticationcodeE.g.:- 0+STD code+telephone number+ “#” then wait for 2 beep and key in your authentication code followed by# FOR EXTERNAL (ISD) CALLS: Dial ‘0’ for an outside line followed by the ISD code followed by the telephone number a # and authenticationcode  E.g.:- 0+ISD code+telephone number+ “#” then wait for 2 beep and then key in your authentication codefollowed by # Note: to request a authentication code initiate a request through the GVI database, To use authentication code, please use the following steps: 1. Dial 0   (for an outside line) 2. Key in the full number you wish to dial (including required STD / ISD dialling codes ) 3. Wait until you hear two beeps 4. Key in your Authentication Code 5. Press the # keyThis process may be followed by a short silence while you are connecting to the dialled number.   4.CONFERENCE CALLS: You can have up to six parties in a conference call from your desk. While on a call:1.Press ‘More’ softkey, this will take you to the next set of options.2.Press ‘Confrn’ softkey, this automatically holds first caller.3.Dial the next number and press ‘Confrn’ softkey to join them together.4.Repeat these steps to add upto 5 more parties. If a call is not answered, Press ‘EndCall’ and press the linekey where the conference call is held. 5.TO USE TIELINE. To start Tie line “Press the Tieline button and use the following dialing format to make a call  .
