  • Fruits-apples, bananas, cherries, grapes, strawberries
  • Vegetables- carrots, broccoli, green beans, corn, tomatoes
  • Grains- bread, rice, oatmeal, whole-wheat flour, whole cornmeal
  • Protein- meats, seafood, nuts and seeds, eggs, beans
  • Dairy- milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, pudding
  • StepsPass out cut outs of foods, vegetables, other nutritional components.Pass out two (2) paper plates for each student (one separate plate for dairy products)Pass out materials such as glue sticks, tape, writing utensils, crayons.Questions After Lesson
